Overview
Milton Wax & Glow Studio is a waxing studio in Milton, Ontario, whose entire web presence was built by CS2. The site carries the full service menu, an online booking flow ("Book your visit"), client accounts under "My visits," and phone, chat, and WhatsApp contact paths, all on one Next.js codebase backed by PostgreSQL.
The challenge
What the business needed
For a local service business, bookings are the business, and the usual answer is renting a slice of a salon SaaS like Fresha or Booksy: per-booking fees, someone else’s brand inside the flow, and no ownership of the client record. The studio wanted the entire loop in-house: a brand-forward site, the service menu, appointment booking, client accounts, and the admin desk — with no per-booking fees and full control of the data.
The build
What CS2 shipped
CS2 built the studio’s platform on Next.js with Prisma over PostgreSQL: a warm, brand-forward marketing site with the complete waxing menu, a native booking flow where clients book a visit online in minutes, client accounts where returning visitors see their visits, and an admin back-office for running the studio day to day. Phone, chat, and WhatsApp are one tap from the header, because a salon’s clientele often prefers a conversation to a form.

Outcome
How it operates today
The studio operates on software it fully owns — every booking, client record, and service update flows through code CS2 wrote, with no per-booking fees to a scheduling platform. It also serves as a living demo: a salon, clinic, or studio owner evaluating CS2 can walk the exact booking experience their own customers would get, running a real business day to day rather than a staged sandbox.
What this proves
A real local business runs day to day on a booking platform CS2 built end to end — proven in production, not in a demo.
